Discover

Menorca

Beaches, whitewashed villages and prehistoric treasures, all within reach of the villa.

The island

Menorca, the best-kept secret of the Balearics

A UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 1993, Menorca has kept its landscapes unspoilt: turquoise coves, pine forests, dry-stone walls and little whitewashed harbours. From the villa, in the middle of the north coast, the whole island is within easy driving distance.

Beaches & coves

The north coast, wild and unspoilt

Five minutes from the villa, Arenal de Son Saura and Arenal d’en Castell offer fine sand and calm water, ideal for children. Further afield, the northern coves such as Cala Pregonda or Cala Tortuga are reached along lovely footpaths.

Arenal de Son Saura

Son Parc’s large pine-fringed beach, just a stone’s throw away.

Arenal d’en Castell

An almost enclosed bay with pale sand and very calm water.

Fornells

Fishing harbour, water sports and the famous lobster stew, caldereta de langosta.

Camí de Cavalls

The 185 km coastal path that runs all the way round the island.

Heritage

Talayotic Menorca

Added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2023, Menorca’s Talayotic culture left unique monuments across the island: navetas, taulas and talayots built nearly 3,000 years ago.

Don’t miss the Naveta des Tudons near Ciutadella, or the taula of Trepucó on the outskirts of Mahón.

Sightseeing

Mahón & Ciutadella

Mahón, the capital, is best discovered from its vast natural harbour, one of the largest in the Mediterranean. To the west, Ciutadella charms with its old town, its cathedral and its little harbour lined with restaurants.

In between, Es Mercadal and Monte Toro, the island’s highest point, offer 360° views.
